About me
Melissa has worked as a biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service since 2014. Her engagement with diverse audiences interested in threatened and endangered species and field work around the state has given her a deep appreciation for the natural resources of Arkansas. Combining her hobby of cooking and baking with wild places and plants led to an interest in foraging food and the delicious power of nature. Melissa presents a few easy and safe recipes to introduce kids and adults to edible nature in the Natural State.
