About me
Jackie Scott is a middle school science teacher at Mann Magnet. She has worked extensively with her lab students with outdoor education with a native plant garden, vegetable garden, and a variety of community science-based projects associated with each grade level as well as various field trips. Due to her work, Jackie has been recognized by organizations such as AEEA and has been awarded the Presidential Innovation Award of Environmental Educators (PIAEE) from the EPA. Jackie regularly helps teachers find ways to incorporate outdoor education into their classroom routines.
