About me
Dr. Cathi McMahan serves as the Tourism Program Coordinator and Professor of Therapeutic Recreation at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. Dr. McMahan has been a proud faculty member of the ATU Tourism Program (formerly the Parks, Recreation and Hospitality Administration Department) for over 28 years. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas/Fayetteville, Northwestern State University/Natchitoches, LA, and Arkansas Tech University. Dr. McMahan’s passion is therapeutic recreation/inclusive recreation and she is an advocate for not only providing recreation opportunities for all, but also welcoming and including all in these activities.
