About me
Amanda Dessert is the Founder & President of Accessibility Across Arkansas. Born and raised in Arkansas and a naturalist at heart, she has spent countless hours outdoors observing wildlife, learning to identify birds and plants, and simply enjoying being immersed in nature. Following a traumatic injury in 2019, she learned to navigate life from a wheelchair while her body recovered. Her experiences as a wheelchair user were eye-opening and are what led her to establish her nonprofit organization, Accessibility Across Arkansas.
